About us
JESENICKÁ ROZVOJOVÁ o.p.s.- is situated in mountain area on the north of Olomouc district of the Czech Republic. Function of this non-profit making organization is to provide useful services as development of Jeseník municipalities, advancement of strategic documents, and preparation of consultant services, process and administration of grant projects. Among other activities of Jesenická rozvojová o.p.s. (thereinafter „JR o.p.s.") belongs also providing of marketing researches for entrepreneurial spheres, non-profit making area and public sector; organizing and support of cultural, sports, educational and social events. Motto of JR o.p.s. is - „Connect, develop and create".
JR o.p.s., which took up its activities on the 1st of May 2007, has been established also with the help of MICROREGION JESENICKO (found on 10th of April 2002). This organization represents association of five local municipalities - Bělá pod Pradědem, Česká Ves, Jeseník, Lipová - lázně and Ostružná. Foundation of Microregion Jesenicko (thereinafter "MRJ") is based on historical cohesion of local people living as well as on established cooperation of fore mentioned declared by „Agreement of Microregion Jesenicko endowment" from 13th of September 1999. MRJ represents 19.513 of citizens on surface or region 224,30 km2. MRJ has huge potential and extensive possibilities in the field of travel movement because is situated in protected landscape area of Jeseníky at boundary of the range of Rychleby Mountain and Hrubý Jeseník with their highest peaks Smrk (1.125 m n.m.) and Praděd (1.492 m n.m.). This spa region offers wide possibilities of free-time activities as hiking, cycling, mountain skiing and skiing, as well as various cultural events. Jeseník district provides a lot of historical landmarks too.
The idea of MRJ foundation was protection and furthers interest's unity concernments, especially common cooperation and coordinated procedures in complex development of individual municipalities. MRJ has been operated for six years till this moment and is focused on gaining financial support from the EU grants, as well as from the state and regional budgets. This support is used for common projects which provide improvement of quality of local citizens' life. The mission of MRJ then is "to be guarantee" in searching for these grant opportunities pointing to its further development.

"Linking of" Jesenik city and other participants of regional development in "Microregion Jesenicko" had lead to more effective communication of partners, unification of municipalities as well as to support and realization of developing projects. Besides - this cooperation has reached more efficient spending of fund and financial support from public funds because JR o.p.s. is responsible for coordination, strategically, administrational and executive activities.
